
We are delighted to let you know that Sherry Perreault, Head of Lobbying Regulation in Ireland, has accepted Kerry Volunteer Centre’s invitation to deliver a briefing seminar on the Lobbying Act in Kerry on Thursday 18th February at 11.30am until 1pm at the Church of the Resurrection Parish Centre.
If you are unaware of the Lobbying Act and its implications on your organisation? If you don’t know what does and does not constitute ‘Lobbying’? Then our seminar on Thursday 18 February may be just what you need. The Lobbying Act Seminar will include:
- Brief attendees as to the provisions of the Regulation of Lobbying Act
- Explore the implications of the Act
- Define the role of the Standards in Public Office Commission’s administering the Act,
- Provide an overview of the online register
- Outline best practices for organisations who may have the obligation to register

At the send of the seminar you will
- have an understanding of what constitutes Lobbying
- be aware of the consequences of the Lobbying Act 2015 for your organisation
- Know if you need to join the Register of Lobbying and how to do so online
