Kerry Volunteer Centre is delighted to announce its 2014 Volunteer Management Training dates of Friday 21st and 28th of November. The training will focus on all aspects of volunteer management.

Aim:
To explore best practices in Volunteer Management with a view to enhancing capacity to manage volunteers. By the end of the training you will be best placed to develop and implement practices and procedures that meet your organisations volunteering needs and reflect best practices.

Modules:
Module 1 – Planning for Volunteer Involvement
Module 2 – Volunteer Recruitment and Selection
Module 3 – Day-to-Day Management of Volunteers
Module 4 – Designing a Policy for Volunteer Involvement

Trainers:
Geraldine Sheehan, Manager at Kerry Volunteer Centre and Certified Volunteer Management Trainer. 
Anna Dokurno, Knowledge Management Officer at Kerry Volunteer Centre and Certified Volunteer Management Trainer.

Date: Friday 21st and 28th November
Time: 9.30am-5pm
Location: Tralee Education Centre, Institute of Technology, North Campus, Dromtacker, Tralee
Cost: €55 for registered organisations, €95 for non-registered organisations

Places on the training course are limited to 20 and are only allocated on receipt of booking form along with course fee. Mid-morning tea/coffee and a light lunch is provided and free parking is available.
