Kerry Volunteer Centre needs your help to acknowledge and celebrate our county’s Volunteers nationally.
We know how amazing Volunteers in Kerry are and the difference they make to our community, so please help us recognise their tremendous contribution by taking a few minutes to nominate one of your local Volunteers for the Volunteer Ireland Awards 2015.
Anyone can nominate, it’s free and everyone nominated will receive a special ‘Thank You’ card.
What are the Volunteer Ireland Awards?
Now in its eight year, the Volunteer Ireland Awards are the national awards to celebrate volunteering in Ireland, coordinated by Volunteer Ireland.
Who can nominate a volunteer?
Everyone can nominate a volunteer. If you know someone you think deserved to be recognised for their Volunteering contribution, nominate them!
How can you nominate a volunteer?
Fill out the short online nomination form to nominate someone. It only take a few minutes and will mean so much to that volunteer; we all like to feel appreciated.
Are there criteria for eligibility?
The only requirement is that the nominee must be a volunteer. The Volunteer Ireland Awards are open to volunteers of all ages in any part of Ireland.

Where and when does the Awards Ceremony take place?
The gala Volunteer Ireland Awards ceremony will take place on December 2nd in City Hall, Dublin.
Last year, three phenomenal Volunteers represented Kerry at the Volunteer Ireland Awards, two of which went on to receive awards. This year, let’s show everyone that the people of Kerry truly do acknowledge, respect and appreciate their Volunteers by flooding the nomination box with not only hundreds but thousands of nominations!
