Volunteer Induction

An induction is a way to introduce a new volunteer to your organisation. This helps them feel part of the team and helps you make sure they have all the information they need to have a great experience. This guide is designed to develop your awareness of how to do inductions and the benefits of developing an induction pack to help both you and your volunteers get the most out of the induction process. Planning and creating an induction programme and induction pack ensures all volunteers receive all relevant information and are introduced to the organisation in the same way. Below are sample induction checklists to help you develop an induction process and pack that suits your organisation’s needs.

Checklist 1 is designed for the front page of your volunteer file Download

Checklist 2 is the main substance of your induction pack it can be updated and added to easily Download
