Welcome to your new website, developed to extend the range and reach of local Volunteering support services in Co. Kerry. Here at Kerry Volunteer Centre we want to be available in all parishes and parts of our county 24 hours a day and now will be!! We are excited about taking the show on the “virtual road”, and look forward to your company along the way!
It is intended that the new website will act as a reservoir of up-to-date information on all volunteering and community and voluntary related developments. It has been designed to act as a knowledge bank for you. As such, it is and will be packed full of resources, information and publications deliberately chosen to enhance Volunteering, enable volunteers and to support community and voluntary groups in Kerry.
We are very excited about the blog section of our website in particular as it aims to enhances our existing relationships and lines of two-way communication with you! Thus giving us additional insights and feedback into what is needed locally from our staff and services. As you know there are thousands of volunteers in Kerry with extensive experience and knowledge in volunteering that we want to bring to light. This website has been months in the making and well deserved recognition is owed to the genius behind it, our Knowledge Management Officer and Web Developer, Anna Dokurno. Everyone at the Centre has contributed to the sites development but Anna has been the one that has brought it all together.
